Sarp Yachts Antalya Turkey

The first 26-metre Sarp XSR motor yacht has been delivered and named Edge. The yacht, which was launched in August, is now on route to the South of France where she will make her world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival next week.

Sarp Yachts has just announced the successful launch of the first 26-metre Sarp XSR 85. The yacht features an exterior design from Red Yacht Design, who are also the minds behind her interior styling. She features a vibrant Porsche Guards Red colouring on her hull, making her highly distinctive.

Turkish shipbuilder Sarp Yachts has delivered the first unit of its XSR 85 series, which has now been christened Edge.

Edge is the first of two XSR models to be built by the Antalya-based shipyard, both of which are listed for sale with Alex Clarke at Denison Yachting.

The first 25.7 metre yacht in Sarp Yachts' XSR 85 series has reached a landmark in its construction with the turning of the completed hull. The yard revealed new images and a time lapse video of the operation, which took place on November 8.

Emre Sandan is a man obsessed. The shipyard manager of Turkey’s Sarp Yachts rattles off the ISO standards his yard has achieved (all very impressive), but the big news is the classification he used to build Sarp’s first superyacht: ABS, known and trusted the world over.

At the beginning of last year, Yacht Première published a preview of the design for the new motor yacht Sarp 46 M in issue 34 of this magazine. At that time, the vessel, bearing yard code NB 101, was in the advanced phases of construction, a process which was taking place entirely at the Turkish shipyard’s facilities in the Antalya Free Zone. After the works concluded on schedule, the vessel was successfully launched in March of this year and then given the name La Passion.

Sarp Yachts in Turkey not only recently launched their first yacht of the new year but their first major production luxury yacht. She is a 46-meter luxury motor yacht simply called the Sarp 46. It doesn’t appear that she has an owner and likely was built on spec as the yacht is still for sale at this point. The tri-deck yacht has design by Osman Tanju Kalaycıoğlu and an interior by the Adam Lay Studio.

April has proven a successful month for Turkish shipyard Sarp Yacht, taking a total of three awards from two different awards ceremonies; A’ Design and International Arch of Europe. Both announced this month, the brand took the Golden A’ Design Yacht Design and A’ Design Interior Design awards, as well as the Arch of Europe Quality Gold Award.

Stephen Huish unveils latest superyacht interior    

British designer Stephen Huish has unveiled his latest interior designs for a 30 metre superyacht project in collaboration with Sarp Yachts. Named The Gem, Tanju Kalaycioglu of Taka Yacht Design is responsible for her exterior designs, with Taka Yacht Design also responsible for her naval architecture.

Turkey’s Sarp Yacht shipyard is one of the largest and most modern facilities in the Free Zone of Antalya, Turkey. At 10,000m2, the company is designed for the new construction and refit of motor and sailing yachts of up to 70 metres in length.

Currently under construction, the luxury motor yacht Sarp 46 represents the first superyacht project of the Antalya-based manufacturer, Sarp Yacht. Turkish shipyard, Sarp Yacht, is thrilled to unveil the 58-metre superyacht NB102. Sarp 58 motor yacht NB102 is a larger version of the 46m luxury yacht Sarp 46, which is currently under construction.

TURKEY, Antalya. Stephen Huish Design has revealed the interior for a 40m classic motoryacht, which has been developed with Sarp Yachts Shipyard in Turkey. "It’s a different style of interior than the usual modern interior that I do, however, it’s getting quite a bit of attention," explains Stephen Huish, creative director.

Sarp Yacht from Antalya is a very young shipyard and is working on their kick-off project. A 46m motor yacht. The 46m was designed by Osman Tanju Kalaycıoğlu (exterior) and Adam Lay (interior). The team conducted hull tests at the Ship Desgin and Research Centre Centrum Techniki Okrętowej (CTO) in Gdansk to create a yacht with low resistance and wave profile.
